Books, too, have spirits
Mine tell stories about nature, ancient wisdom, and the miracles of life

Nature is never silent
My first book is proof that just ten minutes can change your life. After giving a Science Slam about my rabbit research, I was contacted by literary agency. They enjoyed my presentation so much that they invited me to write a book.
The rest is the story of a book that takes readers on a fascinating journey into the remarkable world of communication in nature - where fish lie, rabbits have their own social networks, and crabs pee on each other.
The books has been published in eight languages.

"It’s all told in a concise, engaging, and witty way."
"A truly fascinating and highly entertaining book."
"It never ceases to amaze me how talkative nature is—so enlightening and entertaining!"
The unbelievable power of nature
During my PhD, I kept coming back to the same question: Are Frankfurt's urban rabbits more stressed than their countryside relatives? And what is stress, really?
The answer was surprising: Stress has earned a worse reputation than it deserves. From an evolutionary perspective, it's an essential signal that something in our environment isn't right—a guide that encourages all living beings to move away from what harms them and toward a place where they can thrive.
In this book, you'll discover what animals and plants can teach us about dealing with stress—and how you, too, can harness the remarkable wisdom of nature to live a healthier, more balanced life.
The book will soon be available in English.

"This book is more than just a fascinating read about biology—it has the potential to become a true guide for life."
"Written in a relaxed first-person voice, it's entertaining, engaging, and enlightening."
"Biologist Madlen Ziege has written an insightful and fascinating book about the wonders of nature."
